About Me- Running, Racing and Coaching
Gemma Carter - Running Coach and Personal Trainer, 50km treadmill World Record holder, England representative at ACP 100km championships.....

......lover of the mountains
My Running Background:

After a lifetime revolved around sport, I am now an experienced runner having completed many marathons. However, my expertise lie in ultramarathon running and endurance races competing in many ultra distance races (50km, 50milers and 100 milers).

My passion is in the mountains and discovering new trails and races in them all over the globe.

I have previously competed for England in the ACP International Championships and in 2015, I succeeded in a fun attempt at the Guinness World Record for the fastest 50km on a treadmill (female).
I am currently a member of Serpentines Running Club in London and have been a Watford Harriers Club member in my youth, attaining titles at championships on the track for many years and captained many athletic teams.

I have coached many clients over this time in such specific goals running and non running for general fitness training, competition specific training (such as marathons), nutritional advice and recovery from sports related injuries but am always adding other skills to my repertoire. I have a keen academic interest in sports psychology and the role it has in optimising performance.
